Question:

Back when Alex trained with the pro squad at Allstars around 2018–2019—helping his boxing coach, who was preparing for an MMA fight, with his grappling—he sparred against all the pros. He had absolutely no striking experience and only six years of grappling under his belt. He weighed 75 kg; the big question is: how did he survive?

Answer:

The first time I met him was at a grappling match in Rållisparken, before Alex started at Allstars. It was held outdoors on big mats.

We were in the final; one of us went for an inversion while the other flashed the “shaka” sign, and we were both pulling funny faces. That was when I knew we’d have fun together. The match ended in a draw.

My brother went all out in training and pushed hard. He survived.

Question:

Alexander charges more than the personal trainers at gym chains like SATS, Nordic Wellness, and Friskis & Svettis. Why should you choose him?

Answer:

If you just want to work out, you can go to a regular gym for a few hundred kronor. But at SATS, you end up waiting for a machine while the person next to you is just scrolling on their phone.

With Alex, it’s just you and him for 60 minutes; he spots exactly what you’re doing wrong before you even realize it yourself.

You shoot the breeze, pick your own music, and even wrestle a bit if you’re up for it. That’s the experience you’re paying for—not the facility itself.

Question:
Wasn’t it a bit strange to let a “new” PT take over?

Answer:
Yeah, that was actually what made me hesitate the most. It felt a bit like hiring some punk kid, to be honest. But after the first session, it didn’t matter anymore. He’s been in the game for over 20 years and doing BJJ for 10+; you realize pretty quickly that he knows what he’s talking about.

You don’t care what someone calls themselves. You care about the results. If you skip a session because you’re tired, it’s just money lost. If you show up anyway, you see what the sessions actually do. He really holds you accountable.

Question:

Why should I let Alex coach me instead of just finding the biggest, toughest guy around and asking him?

Answer:

I’ve worked as a bouncer for years and seen plenty of big guys who don’t get why others don’t “just go harder.”

Being strong yourself isn’t the same thing as understanding why someone else is getting stuck. Alex is good at explaining why something doesn’t work for your specific body, rather than just showing off his own.

Question:

What is it like to work out in someone’s personal studio corner in their apartment compared to a regular gym? Do the benefits really outweigh the drawbacks?

Answer:

If you just want a membership and a workout routine you could have easily Googled yourself, then a gym is better. But if you’re paying 1000+ kr an hour, it’s not about the space itself. It’s about having someone actually watching you for the entire session, not just half of it. No waiting in line, no “sort of” focus. You give it a try out of curiosity. You stick with it because you notice a difference after just a few sessions.

Question:

How does Alex handle the fact that each client has unique needs and circumstances?

Answer:

Alex does his job because he loves it, not simply because it is on his schedule. He tailors goals and milestones in consultation with the client and remains committed throughout the entire process. He takes a genuine interest in the client’s progress; drawing on his own rehabilitation experience, he understands just how tough the road to one’s goals can be—and he shares this insight while providing the extra encouragement needed to make the client feel both truly seen and motivated.

I have trained with various gym coaches who mostly just demonstrated the exercises, but Alex has brought a vital human element to the experience. Thanks to him, I haven’t let my journey stall; instead, I’ve kept getting back up after every setback. Alex has been a huge source of inspiration for my journey.

Question:

What is your impression of Alexander as a person?

Answer:

I’ve known and worked with Alex for a long time. He’s the kind of person you can always count on. If he says he’s going to do something, he does it. He listens, genuinely cares, and always gives a hundred percent. If someone asks if I trust Alex? 100%.

Question:

If Alex could get in shape on his own, why should I hire a PT? Why don’t I just do what he did?

Answer:

You absolutely can do it yourself—it just takes ages, and you’re guaranteed to make unnecessary mistakes. Alex catches your errors before they turn into habits. That’s the whole point.

Question:

What would you say is the best part about working with Alexander?

Answer:

A focus entirely on *you*. Professional guidance on understanding proteins, calories, and the foods that help you reach your goals. With his extensive experience, Alex tailors a “menu” together with you.
